SHERRY PLETT Your presence is missed daily, Mom. More than ever before, I wish you were here to be my best friend and confidante. There's so much I want to ask you, so much I want to tell you. Like, "Thanks for the thousand packed lunches. Thanks for cleaning up after us, over and over again. Thanks for your patience. Thanks for helping us with our homework. Thanks for working two jobs even though you didn't have to. Thanks for all the meals you cooked even though you must have been exhausted. Thanks for making our home such a happy one. Thanks for showing me the type of mom I'd like to be." Mom, how on earth did you do it? You're a hero. You always put the family before yourself and you did it so cheerfully and graciously, out of love. I wish we could tell you in person how grateful we are and how amazed we are by you. We love you and we miss you.
